Efrigjend Nikqi

Teacher – Efrigjend Born in Peja, Kosovo lived in the Bronx his whole life. Efrigjend is bursting with excitement to be part of the Haven Academy Middle team. He has always loved making sense of the world, and the way math can make everyone make logical decisions in their everyday lives. He graduated from City College of NY with a bachelor’s in Math Education. As a child, he always wanted to help others grow by giving them support as much as possible. For example, in high school, he expanded his service hours to over 300! He then went to college and started tutoring, also working in the restaurant business for 3 years to learn how to serve people as much as possible. During the years he chose to focus on scholars who are older because he saw a bright future for every child. In his free time, he loves to play video games, cook, dance, and find new ways to make the class more enjoyable.
