Assistant Principal (3-5) –
Gleendy was born and raised in NYC. She always knew she wanted to be a teacher. In 2008 Gleendy earned Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Elementary Education from Barnard College. It was this same year she became a founding member at Haven. In 2011 Gleendy earned a Master of Education with a focus in Special Education from Bank Street College. Over the years she’s had to opportunity to work with multiple age groups. After 9 years in the classroom as a teacher, Gleendy is now the Director of Math, where she works closely with both teachers and scholars.
On her free time, Gleendy enjoys running, exploring art at museums and watching films.
