Amaya is a passionate educator who is excited to be at Haven Academy. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University and has several years of experience supporting and teaching elementary students. Amaya is committed to creating a welcoming, engaging classroom where every student feels valued, supported and confident in their ability to learn and grow. Outside of the classroom she enjoys exploring New York City, trying new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
