Mrs. Kinslow is the Director of External Affairs at Mott Haven Academy. In this role, she leads the school’s fundraising, communications, strategic partnerships, and board-related activities. Her goal for the organization is to elevate its profile among charter schools in New York City while supporting its existing programming.
Prior to her role at Haven Academy, Mrs. Kinslow was the Senior Development Associate for Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners, a non-profit dedicated to providing free financial empowerment services to low-income families across New York City.
Before joining the non-profit industry, Mrs. Kinslow was a business management consultant with Teneo Holdings for both its Intelligence and Strategy divisions. The firm served the chief executive officers of Fortune 50 companies on complex issues like crisis communications and political risk mitigation. Her work centered on serving the CEO’s of companies like McDonald’s, Coca-Cola, Dow Chemical, and many others. Prior to Teneo, Mrs. Kinslow worked a strategic communications consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, D.C., focusing the intelligence community.
Mrs. Kinslow graduated from the College of William & Mary with a major in International Relations and minor in economics. She speaks conversational German and Arabic and is learning Spanish. In her free time, Mrs. Kinslow enjoys training her dog and playing volleyball with her husband and friends.
