Behavior and Data Specialist (3-5) – Ms. Jones was born and raised in the Bronx. Ms. Jones attended the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh and received a degree in Gender and Women’s Studies and Biology. Upon graduation from Plattsburgh, Ms. Jones moved back to NYC to give back to the community that helped to make her who she was.
Before coming to Haven, Ms. Jones spent some time working with New York City’s homeless youth population. Shortly after, Ms. Jones started her work with the New York Foundling’s Educational Advocacy department. She helped to develop programming and strategies to ensure academic success and school stability among the city’s most vulnerable population. During that time, Ms. Jones completed her Masters in School Counseling at CUNY Lehman. Ms. Jones is happy to be joining the Haven Academy family as a Behavior and Data Specialist for grades 3-5. When she’s not at Haven, Ms. Jones likes to spend time with her loved ones and most of all she loves to travel and try new foods!
