Eliza has been a passionate math teacher for 15 years following a career in finance. She brings a strong sense of justice and community involvement to her teaching and believes strongly that all students deserve a rigorous and joyful education. Eliza’s classroom is full of student voice, intellectual grappling, and love. Eliza earned her undergraduate degree at Columbia University, as well as a Masters in Teaching from Montclair State, and a Masters in Public Policy from Columbia. Outside of work, Eliza loves to spend time with her husband and four children. She also loves to read, travel, cook, volunteer, and work out. Eliza is a proud resident of Washington Heights, and is thrilled to be teaching in the borough in which her mother grew up.
