Jasmine was born and raised in Harlem, but loves to explore different parts of the world. She has traveled/lived in over 10 countries. It all started when she studied abroad in Spain for a semester, which piqued her curiosity about traveling. After graduating from Lincoln University with a BA, she pursued a career in teaching. She started as an English teacher in Japan where she taught elementary and high school aged kids, as well as adults. After two years, Jasmine decided to get my Masters degree in TESOL Education. Since then she has taught in private, public and charter schools. As well as being a part of the Mott Haven Academy community, Jasmine is also an Adjunct Professor at Lehman college.
