Rebecca was born and raised in Far Rockaway, moved to the Bronx when she was sixteen. While in school to become a Dietitian, she started working with children in after-school programs. Working with these kids inspired her to find a new career path in teaching. She spent 2 years teaching 18-24 month olds, with the intention of always returning to school age children. She is excited that Haven is providing her with that opportunity. She received her Associates of Science Degree, and is currently pursuing her B.A.
