Tasia was raised in the Bronx, NY. She attended SUNY New Paltz where she received her Bachelors in English. After college, Tasia worked in Education where she realized her passion and love for children. In 2021, Tasia was accepted into Teach for America where she was placed to teach in Memphis, TN. She taught for 3 years in Memphis before returning to the Bronx (her home) and finding Mott Haven Academy Charter School. Tasia thrives on exploring the worlds of art and literature. With deep appreciation for reading, she brings creativity and insight into the classroom, inspiring students through their dedication to education and arts.
