Jessica is excited to have joined the Haven team! She attended Ithaca College, in upstate New York, and obtained an undergraduate degree in English with a minor in Coaching, and earned her Master’s in Childhood Education. Throughout her collegiate experiences, she taught in a variety of schools, after school programs, worked with child refugees in a trauma sensitive program, and coached girl’s lacrosse teams. Previously, she worked in Harlem for a few years as a second grade teacher and fourth grade teacher. Jessica has a passion for working with children to better their academics and social emotional skills. In her free time, she enjoys being active, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
