Lauren Blenkinship

Lauren Blenkinship was born and raised in Los Angeles California, and attended UCLA for her Bachelor’s in psychology. As a part of Teach For America she is committed to fighting systemic educational inequity. As a student Lauren always felt that the material did not reach her, because she is a more hands-on kind of learner. As a Special Educator, she is passionate about making knowledge accessible to all students. In her free time she enjoys cooking and exploring the city. Music has always been a passion of hers and she plays piano, guitar, and sings regularly. Lauren loves to travel, and is excited by the breadth of knowledge and diversity all across the world. Lauren comes from a family of artists, so she loves to draw and create DIY projects for her apartment.
