Raised in the Bronx, Destine began working at a sleep away summer camp in Montague, NJ and an after school program in the South Bronx at the age of 14. It was then when she knew she wanted to work with young children. Destine studied Early Childhood Education and is currently enrolled in school to continue her education. She is grateful to have found Haven early on in her teaching career. Destine is excited to be a part of a loving, supportive, and culturally responsive community.
