Lukas was born in Rio Rico, Arizona. He received his Bachelor of Science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. After graduating college, Lukas worked in nonprofit as a job coach for adults with developmental disabilities. He then received a Master’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education at Arizona State University. Prior to coming to Haven, Lukas taught SETSS classes to students in grades 5-8 in the areas of ELA and Math. Lukas is dedicated to fostering students’ independence skills and gaining access to the quality of education that they deserve. He is excited to support Haven’s students as a classroom teacher.
When he is not teaching, Lukas enjoys drawing, gardening, and analyzing stories.
