Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in the diverse neighborhoods of Queens, my journey reflects a rich blend of cultural influences and experiences. This background has instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity and a unique perspective that enriches my approach to education. With a Bachelor of Science in Biology from City College of New York and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Science in Health Informatics & Information Management at Davenport University, my teaching journey has been marked by a commitment to creating enriching learning environments. As a dedicated educator, I’ve applied my comprehensive academic background to roles such as Living Environment & Advanced Placement Biology Teacher, where I meticulously planned and executed engaging lessons to foster a supportive atmosphere. Additionally, my experience as an Advance Placement Biology Teacher showcased my active participation in collaborative planning and the implementation of Common Core-aligned curricula.
