Valerie was raised on Long Island. She worked as a children’s swim instructor, where she first found her love for teaching. Valerie also works as a Direct Support Professional and Military Police soldier. She plans on advancing her education in early literacy and developmental disabilities. In her free time, Valerie enjoys reading, skateboarding, and spending time with loved ones.
