Melissa Dolphin

Teacher –

Melissa was born, raised and still lives in Suffern, NY.  She joins the Mott Haven community after having taught in the NYC DOE and in both public and private schools in Rockland County, NY for the last 14 years.  Ms Dolphin graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education and holds a Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from American Intercontinental University. Melissa knew from an early age that she wanted to be a teacher.  According to her Father, when she was little she would spend hours “teaching” her dolls and stuffed animals how to read and solve math problems. In her free time Ms Dolphin volunteers with the nonprofit organization, Circle Camps, cheering on the NY Jets, traveling and spending time with family and friends
